CUSTARD ORANGE CAKE

Ingredients:
  • oil for greasing tin
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1/3 cup custard powder
  • 11/3 cups casting sugar
  • 4 table spoons butter
  • chopped 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 125 g cream cheese
  • 2 table spoon icing sugar
Procedure:
  • 1. sift flour and custard powder and put in food proseser bowl with sugar and pieces of butter. 
  • 2. using the pulse action press the button for 10 seconds or until the mixture is fine and crumbly. 
  • 3. put eggs, orange rind and juice into the food proceser bowl . proses for 30 seconds or until mixture is smooth. 
  • 4.spoon the mixture into tin; smooth surface. bake for 50 minutes or until askewert comes out clean when pushed into middle of cake. 
  • 5.leave cake to stand in the tin for 5 minutes before turning it onto a wire rack to cool.
  • 6.mix together cream cheese and icing sugar and spread over top of cake. Decorate with strips of orange rind, if liked.
